To the right side you can see thumbnail pictures of a few  rescues from the past. All dogs found wonderful homes
and we made sure to follow up with their new families and
be available for any questions.
By clicking on the pictures you can see them in a large format and read a little caption for each of them.
ENJOY!!

And please remember: Be responsible and spay or neuter your pet. Have a positive influence on people you know. Keep your pet on year round Heartworm-Prevention- it's so cheap compared to the costs of
the treatment once your pet gets sick. Just think how many lives were lost or ruined by not following these simple rules! As much as I enjoy animal rescue-
I wish I would not have to do it!

Please meet "ANNABETH"- a 9-week-old German Shepherd Mix who is now safe in our Foster Care. She and her 2 siblings were supposed to be euthanized that day by 5 p.m.
UPDATE:
ON JANUARY 15TH OUR FAMILY OFFICIALLY ADOPTED "ANNABETH". WE ARE VERY HAPPY AND LUCKY TO HAVE FOUND SUCH A WONDERFUL DOG!
This is Annabeth, snuggeling with her new big Brother "BO" and her little sister "Lilly"
That's what I call "A DOGS LIFE!!"
Zoe" is a 2 year old German Shepherd/ Lab Mix. People called Animal Control as they saw her roaming in an abandoned barn with her puppies. While the puppies all found homes, "Zoe" was left alone in her pen, waiting for her sure death.
We were able to rescue her, have her spayed, treated for Heart worm Disease and she is now living in Chapel Hill, making her new owner VERY happy (and vice versa!). We are thrilled to see her like this. It truly is a "Happy Tale"
These 3 little cuties were found wandering through the woods in Harnett County (after a storm) and then picked up by Animal Control. Other than intestinal worms and tons of ticks they were healthy.
Left: "Spot"- different colors of tan/ brown and white with the most unusual markings on his face and around his snout. He already loves to walk on the leash. "Penny"- the only girl and the smallest, weighing only 5 pounds. She is the cutes little puppy and a little mischievous!
"Percy"- the strongest, is a dark brown/ black brindle with the cutest white dotted "socks". He is also the laziest, laying down while eating and always rolling over on his
back to get a "belly-rub".
Happy "End"ings:

All 3 puppies found the perfect home where they are loved and taken care for. These 3 cuties were the hardest to let go for my children- especially after Penny, who got adopted out last, left.
This is "Diva"- a cute, spunky little girl, weighing not even 5 pounds at the time of rescue.
She has the most unique look, with greenish/ amber eyes and such a beautiful coat with light brown markings. A "Soccer -Family" adopted her- and everyone is very happy.
And this is "Selina"- a long legged, black-and white Lab-Mix girl with such a laid back personality. A family with 5 children and another dog adopted her- what a luck girl she is. We still meet with her!
